ARTS COURT THEATRE

Pop Drone is the in-house communication team for Arts Court Theatre, a multipurpose venue managed by the Ottawa Fringe Festival since 2013. The facilities include a 140-seat theatre, an 80-seat black box studio, as well as the two rehearsal studios.

The theatre is located in Arts Court, a City-owned heritage building which is now home to a group of Ottawa’s professional arts producers and presenters including: Artengine, Ottawa Dance Directive, SAW Gallery, SAW Video Media Art Centre, and Club SAW. A historic landmark downtown Ottawa, Arts Court continues to evolve as a vibrant hub for artists and audiences alike.

Our team has led groundbreaking campaigns for indie theatre and new music festivals and an annual pop-up series on Rideau Street for the TD Ottawa Jazz Festival.

About Us

Pop Drone is a joint effort to promote off-centre music and independent art. We support what we think is fresh, exciting and has potential.

Mainly we produce shows, book tours, promote albums and plays and whatnot. We operated Pop Drone Records from 2013–2015, which brought about label imprints in Ottawa and New York City.
