FOR FLINT

It’s been 5 years since the residents of Flint, Michigan began dealing with the crisis of water contamination. While a great deal of progress has been made since then, many residents remain (understandably) skeptical of the safety of their water. These outstanding musicians generously agreed to donate their time and talents to make a new album to raise money for the charity Flint4Flint—an organization that works to provide families with gallons of clean water every month to assist them until stability and trust is restored. NYC bandleader and composer Jeremy Ajani Jordan  enlisted Jake Robinson, Dan Asher, Jonathan Ragonese, Mark Dover, Andrew Gould, Steven Fowler  and Deacon Jackson for the special project.

“These are some of my closest friends and truly wonderful artists,” says Jordan. “We hope that this new album will serve as a musical memorial to those that have suffered this injustice and, more importantly, help raise funds to assist them in their time of need.”

Pre-orders for the album are available via Bandcamp. For Flint arrives on October 13, 2019. Many thanks to Bandcamp for donating their revenue share to Flint4Flint as well. They will only keep whatever is necessary to maintain the server. We hope that we can make a small difference for these folks.
